DJ's/Presenters:
There are two people who present the radio show, one of them act like more of a DJ getting all songs to create a mashup. The presenters for this radio show where very informal, there was two presenters and they were both having relaxed conversations about some of he events in Sheffield. This fits the type of music that is played on the radio show which is chilled RnB. One some occasions they will have another presenter that will be a special guest.
Content:
For the radio show that I had listened to there wasn't a lot of music tracks being played, it was mainly adverts and jingles. This is unusual for this type of radio show because as it advertised for playing a lo of music tracks. Although the content of the show can be used to help people understand the genre is this case it may confuse them, this is because he description of the show does not match the actual content of the show as it was mainly filled with adverts and audio from the presenter. When the music is playing it is usually a mashup of songs that the Dj had collected. From the way he presents this is seems like this is something that he has done weekly and he changes it based on the year.
Audience:
The audience for this particular show wold be 50% males and 50% females that are in between the ages of 45-65 this is because a lot of the things that the presenters advertise are things like gardening shows or bowls. This is the sort of thing that appeals to people of the older generation. Also, a lot of younger people would be listening to BBC radio 1 of Capital FM Sheffield since a lot of their content appeals to the younger audience. Also, a lot of the songs that are played are quite old so it wold mainly appeal to people who were alive in that time.
For this radio show I cannot put the target audience in a social grade because retired people do not have a current occupation however they would be closest to D because they are not working.
